The BIOS is the first piece of software to run when a computer is switched on, and its code is stored on a ROM (Read-Only Memory) chip on the motherboard.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"text-align-justify\" id=\"para-que-sirve-la-bios\"><span style=\"color:rgb(64,64,64);\"><strong>What is the BIOS used for?<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\"><span style=\"color:rgb(64,64,64);\">The BIOS has several crucial functions that enable a computer to operate correctly.
