Within this framework, design is constantly evolving, while remaining rooted in the duality of captivating the senses and delivering a functional experience.

In this article, we tell you about the main trends in web design that remain stable in this era. All of them are based on three pillars: efficiency, simplicity and user involvement. At Euroinnova we keep you at the cutting edge of web design!

Use of AI in the design process

Unsurprisingly, one of the big trends in web design that will mark the coming years will be the use of artificial intelligence. Even so, and despite some commotion in some creative circles, the tools developed with AI are not yet capable of replacing human workers in all design work. In fact, AI opens the door for them to a source of inspiration and new design ideas.

Within artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence teams are UX design or UI are increasingly being asked to design the interface of intelligent chatbots. These serve as virtual assistants and answer customer queries in an automated way.

And where a designer will notice the incorporation of AI most is in their work process. As AI improves, designers will be able to play with more designs, to make their work more efficient, to make their manual design process is more efficient and deliver better results. In fact, Figma already makes available to its users the generation of components through prompts, and other plugins that use AI to, for example, generate images.

Minimalism

Nowadays, not many companies are looking for a flashy website with flashy colours and impressive animations. In fact, for a few years now, web design trends have been moving in the opposite direction. What they are looking for is that the interfaces are easy for the user to understand and that your journey through the website is fluid. That's why minimalism is in vogue.

To this end, the designers limit the number of colours in their palette, always opting for more neutral or pastel shades. They also avoid cluttering their webpages with too many elements. Rather, they create the necessary elements so that the website is functional.

It might seem that minimalist web design trends suffer from laziness, and while it is not necessary to generate too much creativity and components as in more baroque designs, this is not really the case. In a minimalist design, each element has to make sense and designed with a lot of attention to detail, not to mention its correct distribution in the virtual space in order to ensure that they highlight the precise elements that will help to achieve a conversion.

Microinteractions

This trend focuses on the small details that differentiate a mediocre user experience from one that truly engages users. These micro-interactions often serve to add a little life to the page. and to let the user know that their interactions are being processed. adequately.

For example, a micro-interaction would be if images on a web page were floating with a hover, that is, when the user slides the mouse over them. Another example of microinteraction would be that in a form with checkboxes, when the checkbox is ticked, it is filled with a corporate colour.

A perfect example of micro-interaction in UX design is the progress indicators. For example, if a form or registration process is too long, designers break it down into several steps. So that the user does not feel overwhelmed, progress indicators are placed at the top of the web page and are filled in as the user progresses step by step.

Responsibility

This word comes from the English responsiveness and refers to the adaptability of the web design to different formats depending on the device on which it is accessed. Google has already announced for some years that it would penalise websites that are not usable on mobile phones.

This is because users are becoming more accustomed to surfing the Internet via mobile phones, which has a very different and reduced interface compared to computer screens. Thus, users now use their mobile phones to buy clothes, view service menus, make online bookings and make doctor's appointments.

That is why if a website is not responsive and is not able to adapt to all devices, we can notice a decrease in the quantity and quality of web traffic: firstly, because we run the risk of being penalised by Google and, secondly, because users flee from websites that are not very usable.

Clean typography

When we talk about clean typography, we are referring to the minimalist trend that is sweeping design studios, also applied to typography. As we have said, in today's design, usability takes precedence over aesthetics, so that a usable website is also a readable website.

Therefore, calligraphic and decorative typefaces with flourishes are falling into oblivion, and the use of block letters for titles, headings and paragraph text is widespread.

Although less differentiating, stick fonts demand less cognitive load from the user when reading, especially in the case of paragraphs. Nowadays, stick fonts are also used in large headings. This, in turn, is because the entire written format of a page is becoming an integral part of web design.

There are websites whose design is based primarily on the strategic placement of text units The use of a clean, stable and visible typography is key to create a pleasant first visual impression on the user.

En el mundo del diseño web, donde la creatividad es el motor y la usabilidad es el destino, nacen continuamente […]

[1

post-3091","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-sin-categorizar
["GET
